Testimonials

Here's what our customers have to say about us:

"I have had quite a lot of experience with eye exams, glasses/contacts for myself and my entire family for decades, but this office, by far, outdoes them all. Dr. Robertson was fantastic and made my 6 year old granddaughter comfortable and answered every question I had regarding her eyesight. The ladies in the office were also wonderful and let my little one pick through and choose which frames she liked and answered every question I posed as well. Thank you so much!!"

- Aimee C.

"Super friendly and professional. They went above and beyond for me and my husband both, even when we accidentally showed up to our appointment an hour early! They squeezed us in and they were remarkably kind to us during a hard time in our lives. I can't say enough good things about these people."

- Molly M.

I can not give them enough praise. The kindest staff I have ever dealt this. They were so fast and courteous. Even patient when my teen daughter was late, so we were not the best patients. (We had more drama, but the office staff was outstanding). I will never go anywhere else. This was the first doctor that listened to me and helped me with my scratching eyes. I have complained to many doctor's in the past. I am so happy they got us in as new patients.

- Charlene S.

Our Services

In the same location since 1951, Uptown Vision Center has provided eye care to several generations of patients. As the eye care industry has changed we have remained on the cutting edge of providing our patients with the latest in technology in terms of testing equipment, electronic records, and medical services.

Medical eye care services are usually seen on a same day emergency basis, saving one the cost and wait of an emergency room visit. We treat red eye, infections, injuries, floaters, dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, eye pain, and most visual discomforts. We have specific unique testing equipment to photograph conditions as well as a retinal scanner that specifically isolates the retina like a MRI. We truly offer full scope of medical, spectale, contacts, and sunwear.

Fashionable Frames

Uptown Vision Center has specifically chosen to carry frames from manufacturers that provide fashion, durability, comfort, and superior quality. We offer a one year manufacturers warranty on our frames. By offering brands such as Oakley, Flexon, Coach, Versace, Juicy Coture, Sihoulette, Maui Jim and other quality brands our patients can find the best fit, fashion and function of their premium eyewear purchase. We offer over 800 frames in inventory. Our staff is trained to assist you in picking the right shape, color, size and function for your specific prescription and use.

Quality Lenses

We also take the same quality and function in the choice of the lenses we supply. Each glasses prescription has features that require a specific lens to give you the best vision for your specific needs. By using brands such as Zeiss, Varilux, Crizal, Transitions, Hoya and other premium lenses, we know that you will get the vision necessary for your daily needs. The lens technology has changed dramatically to include digitally computer generated lenses that provide precise measurements and correction specifically tailored to you.
